Letting Go Psychology Concept As A Heavy Anchor Transforming Into A Flying Group Of Birds As A Motivational Metaphor For Liberation And Leaving A Life Or Business Burden Behind.

Letting Go to Make Room

We all have some kind of toleration, mind clutter, energy zapper or annoyance taking up room in our life. What are you holding onto or putting up with that takes up space in your mind, heart or physical area? Believe it or not, every time you let something annoy you, your energy gets zapped. Everything you tolerate in your life takes up space in your heart and mind. When you let negative thoughts or feelings take up space in your life, you are not opening yourself up to new possibilities. We need to let go of the negative energy so that we make room for positive thoughts, objects and opportunities to come into our lives.

Make a list of everything you are tolerating or holding onto currently. Maybe you are holding on to resentment or guilt. Perhaps you are putting up with someone else’s negativity. It could be that you are unhappy with something about yourself and it is nagging at you. Get rid of everything on that list.

If you are holding onto resentment or guilt, let it go. Do what you have to do to make it right. Apologize or forgive, and move forward. If you are tolerating someone else’s behavior, figure out what you need to do in order to get it off the list. Maybe it is as simple as changing how you react to something. If you are consumed with an imperfection about yourself, then work on it.

Is something on your list is a physical annoyance? Do you have a broken hinge on a bathroom cabinet? Petty annoyances can also zap your energy! Every time you open that bathroom cabinet, you think, “I really have to get this fixed,” then you close the cabinet. How do you feel? It drains you a little. You probably don’t think about it again until you open that cabinet. You know that feeling. Keep a piece of paper with you for two to three days. Write down every little annoyance from the time you get up until the time you go to sleep. This will be a to do list that will rid your life of these little energy zappers.

All these negative zappers can clutter your mind and take up space in your life. You can clear your mind through meditation. Learn how to meditate so you can relax your mind and get more energy. Your mind will have more focused, clear thoughts, and getting rid of mind clutter can help in every area of your life.

Clearing your space—physically, mentally and emotionally will not only give you a clearer vision of what you want out of life, but will open new doors to you. Get rid of the old clutter to make room for new wonderful opportunities. Just let it go!
